DFW International Airport Management needed LONG-TERM protection for the newly constructed shoulder pavements. They did not want to waste money on treatments every 5-7 years. Only GRIP-FLEX could offer DECADES of trouble free, environmentally safe long-term protection.
In 1991, the shoulders at Flagler County Airport in Florida were sealed with GRIP-FLEX spray seal to match the color of the new asphalt overlay. 20 years later, the shoulders are still BLACK, but the asphalt overlay has grayed out and oxidized.
